comScore, a leader in measuring the digital world just released a study of trends in usage of French online career services sites.

A total of 11.5 million French Internet users accessed a careers services and development site in May 2009, up 45% versus year ago, presumably driven in large part by the effects of the global financial crisis.

Pole-emploi.fr, the government-owned careers agency, is France’s most visited careers site with 3,9 millions visitors in May 2009. Groupe Vocatis ranked second with 1.3 million visitors, followed by Trovit France Jobs with 1.1 million visitors and Keljob Sites with 1 million visitors.

Since May 2008, “Trovit France Jobs” or “Trovit-Emploi” has increased its number of visitors by 281%. Impressive! ;D

We have just launched Trovit in our seventh European country, the Netherlands. As in the rest of the countries where we are present, you can search for homes for rent and sale, jobs and cars for sale (or, as they say in Dutch, huizen, vacatures or Auto’s).

As usual when we launch a new country, we still don’t cover all the sources of ads we would like to, but we will have as many as we can as soon as possible. If you know any classifieds site in the Netherlands that you would like to see included in Trovit, just let us know.

Trovit is now present in eleven countries, seven in Europe (UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal and the Netherlands) and four in Latin America (Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Chile). We hope we can launch a few more countries in the following months.

Germany is the country we have launched with the largest number of ads, but it is a large country and we are working hard to increase the number of sources and ads available for our users. Please contact us if you would like to suggest us a source of ads to include in our index.

We now cover the five largest countries in Europe (UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain) but we won’t stop here, we expect to launch in a few more countries as soon as possible.
